The idea about this image surfaced a few weeks back when a friend of mine gave me some coffee beans he picked up from Austria. He didn't care for it and put the bag in the kitchen at work with a yellow sticky note labeled FREE. It's still there today. Either someone has taken it or it was placed in the garbage.

I mixed a few starbuck's verona blend beans with those from my friend and this is what I came up with.

Hopefully you will find this as amusing as I did.

This was an intersting way to jazz up a bean shot. It stands out from the crowd. Nice DOF, and good job overall.

love the theme! i would be interested in seeing richer colors in the beans...the light reflects off them and it seems to dilute that lovely brown.

Which one of these are not like the others?? Great job. Love the soft lighting/focus and think this was very well done.
