My opinion is that this would have worked as a still life composition of liquid where the reflection off the caramel implied the action of the the liquid but the still-running stream at the right of the image kills the message inherent in the glittering liquid.
Now I'm hungry. The ice cream and carmel are exposed and focused well. The table surfaace and left edge of the bowl don't add much - a tighter crop would have been helpful.
