This is how it's done folks:
Got a wine glass, flipped it upside-down on a mirror and poured water on the top. It was kind of hard to pour the water while making sure my camera didn't get soaked...
Then I:

Boo to DQ challenge. This site sucks if shes about to send the file and they disqualify her anyways. BOOOOOO DQ! You in charge suck! Take your thumbs out your butts!
Katherine straikes again and now hits the bulls eye. I am very happy for you and wish you more success. You do have the talent. Congratulations on your YELLOW!
This was one of the few favourites of mine in the challenge. Glad you got the yellow! Congratulations for a really remarkable shot! Been wondering how you did it and as there's no photographer's comments ... Care to share?
You're not old enough to be handling wine... DQ. ;-)
Congrats on your first ribbon. It was well-earned, and I kinda' figured it wouldn't take long. At this rate, I'm sure you'll have a nice collection of ribbons within the next year.
An interesting shot... and I think I know how you did it... :)
Technically well done, composition is spot on, focus, depth of field, tone and color are all good. Technically a very well done photo.
But... There are a lot of distractions in this photo. Bubbles where they don't belong, ripples, splashes, all things that take away from the main point of the image. Understandably hard to avoid, but essential to correct in order for this to be a really remarkable picture. A good overall effort though.
I'm going have to come back to this image after the challenge and find out how you did it. I don't like the coloring, but that probably because of the technique. Maybe black & white?
This shot is very odd looking and you know what, I like it. I still have some reserve about the monotone red, I think that I personally would have liked this shot better if there were some other colour in the shot contrasting the red but well it works pretty well as it is. Perhaps some, I dunno, green liquid within the glass itself? Just a thought... Anyway, nice work, gave it an 8.
Wow! Very cool shot. I absolutely love the colors. I wonder how this would be with a bit more cropped from the bottom, eliminating the overly dark area in the lower right hand corner? I like the composition as well. Good job and good luck.
