Anywanys, I never said I thought your photo was of water. I was just saying that you will probably get a low score because it looks like water. It does look like water.
I didn't mark you down because of that. It rains a lot here, where I am. This just looks like an everyday photo of a wet car. The drops of 'oil' aren't interesting, the reflection on the hood isn't particulary interesting. It's not a very nice day. The only thing that draws my attention is the emblem and the line leading up to, and the two away from it. The lines in this shot are nice. There is 'liquid' in this shot, but it is not very interesting liquid.
As for the boarder in this one. You have a shadow on the left side, and a shadow on the right side. How can there be two apposing shadows? Where is the 'light' coming from? Well I know it is possible, but it doesn't look natural. So to be more precise, too much shadow on this boarder.
Again if I am looking at the wrong Photo let me know. That's just the way I see it.
I really like this shot, even though it posits water as the liquid, despite the "NOT water" specification in the challenge. The composition is great, focus is sharp and colors are saturated. Very nice photo; it just doesn't fit th challenge very well.
I think this one is going to score generally low, because it looks like rain water. Aside from that, I don't find this one a very interesting shot of 'liquid'. I not fond of the shadow border either. 3
Nice. I like the simplicity, the color, curves, and composition of this shot. Having it wet is just an excuse to see it in this challenge. Nice work. A favorite.
Was it raining oil or something? (Sorry for being a smartass... the challenge rules specifically prohibited water...) Otherwise it's a very good shot :)
I could be wrong, but this looks like water, and the challenge called for NO water, however, you could have sprayed coolaid all over your car.
About the shot itself, I think it's ok. Neat effect, and good angle on the car. Lighting looks good for the effect as well. focus and clarity are good in my opinion.

Made to LOOK like water, a lot of people will probably just jump on that and run. Unfortunately I think that will hurt the score. No one expects cooking oil on a VW. lol. Oh well. I try to assume that the challenge has been met, and go from there.
This will be an 8 from me. I noticed some horizontal shadows(?) to the left of the VW sign that I find to be a bit distracting. Otherwise, as I said before. Good shot.
