 What I did to take this picture was I layed sheets of paper on my kitchen table, and I filled a wide-lipped wine glass with Jone's Soda (FuFu Berry flavored). I printed out a picture of the Earth, cut it out, and taped it under the glass. Slightly to the side I snapped the picture with a flash getting this picture.

Too bad the shot looks badly pixelated, I really like the composition and the single colour. 5 from me...

The backgroudn is a bit stark (donning my sunglasses) :-) I like th coloring in the glass and the swirls - that's my favorite part.
