There seems to be a million 'spills' in this challenge; what makes this photo stand out is the question: "What IS that liquid?" I like the shadow and light and the colors.
The crusties on the bottle are a little unappetizing but overall it's a solid topic-meeting shot. I like the spread of the moisture (or oil?) through what I'm presuming is a paper or thin cloth that the liquid is spilled on, helps with the feel of 'liquid'.
