...how funny you found Lulu on DPC Louison! I just love the fact that someone actually recognized Lulu from seeing pictures of her on a completely different website! I hope she will not let this go to her furry little diva head! : }
I just knew this was Lulu! Hey, Rachel, nice to see you here!
This looks a lot like Lulu, who likes to sleep in the bathtub... Fun shot! Very nice detail in the fur.

Edit: Okay after re-reading my original comment it was rude and I'd rather do this publicly than over PM'ing.
My comment was rude and uncalled for and I apologize for that. This shot is in no way a bad shot at all. The DOF is right on, it is a clean and beautifully done study in b/w (as is all of your work) and for a picture of a pet very intimate and beautiful. The only real flaw in this shot that I can see is some of the whiskers on the right hand side are a tad out of focus but I'm sure your model was doing his/her best to stay still. ;)
I hope you can accept my apology and good luck with this challenge. Oh, and for a cat picture it's the most kick ass one in this challenge. ;)
Original comment: Not very original and not to be rude but this subject (cats/dogs) is, IMHO being totally over done as of late.
With that said, the shot is clean and meets the challenge. I like the b/w conversion. 4
