After trying several different things, I set this up putting olive oil on a purple colored wrapping paper, then dropped red wine vinegar on top. Let the two react for a moment then took the picture.

Initial reactions: Your final score is far too low for such an interesting shot.
Your entered picture is too small - - it takes up less than 1/10th of my total screen - you might do better in future if you try to use the full 640px size that you are allowed.
Nice colours, and interesting shapes, with perhaps the distortion in the upper right being a bit out of place. I like the fairly agressive composition with the yellow dot in the corner and the red exploding around it. The purple/ pink complements the other colours well too. I think the fact that it is blurry actually helps too to make it even more abstract. Finally something different, but these types of shots often do not go down well with the general voting populace.
Also as a general point, while abstracts are a great form of photography, they are going to suffer in a challenge were a clearly defined subject is mentioned - this might have fared better in some of the colour challenges
I cannot in the slightest tell what this is or is meant to be. There's abstract, and then there's unfathomable. It's vaguely pretty in a shades-of-red sort of way I suppose.
I dont really see what this is and the title isnt helping me. I like the colors and position of the red against the changing pink but still have no clue what it is.
