The front portion of the bongos is lit from beneath. The larger drum is my personal favorite, a djembe. The sound of drums is always one that sets the heart beating in rhythm for me.

Had you been able to throw a hand in there, I think it would have given more of the impression of sound, but I get the point totally.
I love how you have lit them from the bottom. I think provides some interest in the shot that it might not have otherwise.
Your focus and clarity are really good. There is a lot of detail in these.
I like the background as well. Nothing distracting there. the dark background works very nicely against the lighter color of the drums.
The angle and framing/cropping are nice as well. I think that they are not crammed in the photo too tightly, but also not spread apart too much. I like the crop.
Overall it's a very nice image. If I had to nit pick, I would mention that there is a blue glowing area near the top of the large bongo that is a bit distracting, however nothing serious. Great job.

These drums seem silent - I wish you could have found a way to show the viewer how they sound, or what they look like when making sound. Wish it were all in focus, and the lighting were more distinct.
nice to see drums, first time I've run across them. Unfortunately like several other instrument images, static instruments without someone playing them does not do as much to evoke the concept of 'sound'. I do like the way this is set up, and the glow on the bottom left's hide. Can't tell what kind of drums the left ones are (tom-toms?), which I suppose is immaterial; I'm just naturally curious.
