OK, this is boring... I get to critique the winning pic and one of my tops in the challenge. Tough job when you find a photo technically flawless!!!!

COLOR & LIGHING: You got your w/b spot on which makes your skin tones as they should be. Your lighting is soft and creates a wonderful mood.... tranquil.
FOCUS: nothin' to say... spot on!
COMPOSITION: ok, so this is the part where I rip your photo apart right?? Hmmmmm..... you know, I don't know what I could have done better IMO. Having the child with eyes closed focuses on the sense of hearing. The hand on the belly shows caring and gentleness not to mention the slight smile. All these creating the perfect mood for the shot.
Having kept some negative space on the right showing the arch in the back give depth to the belly and continues to add softness and balance throughout the photo.
Wow...ese es mi ahijadito me encanta, su cara lo dice todo, claro que no te quito meritos para nada la composicion de la foto esta fregona, pero la cara de cristobal ...me encanto la foto felicidades.
I see that I'm not the only one who loved this photo. Excellent work and congrats on first place :) I also noticed, as I was reading the comments on this shot, that I'm not the only one who thought that it would also look good in a black and white or duotone presentation... Great shot....
I think this is a beautiful photo. You can take away the title and the image says it all. Allthough the title is perfect for the photo. Going into my favorites rignt now. Great Job -- 9

I probably would not have thought of sound without the title, although maybe after giving it a while. It's a well-composed photo but it doesn't grab me in terms of the topic. Highlights on the skin maybe a bit too bright? Hard to tell how much of that is skin tone.
Wow - I can almost hear them! What a tender capture. I love the cropping on the right. The left is a little barrne and can perhaps use a tighter crop or more light. Great submission overall. 10
10 for concept, 9 for execution: 9 overall. :-> I hear the photo (which is my major grading criteria for this contest), and it's an appealing image overall. Nice warm skin tones.
This is absolutely beautiful... can you actually hear heartbeats through the stomach? Wow... this is one touching photo... If this is your family then I would definitely get this picture printed and also congrats on an upcoming new child! I really think this is beautifully done! I like the lighting... I'm giving this a -10- because it really catches my eye and is sweet beyond belief!
