I don't know. The shot makes me hungry, that suggests it's at least a good shot of popcorn, but it's not really the world's most interesting topic. Plus for being on topic and the butter being seriously visible.
The fact that the butter LOOKS liquid is what makes this count as a valid interpretation of the challenge in my opinion. I'd have maybe tried for a stark contrast in the bowl, like a deep cobalt blue or other color, to offset the white/yellow of the popcorn. But I like the DOF and composition of the image overall. And it makes me want popcorn, which is a feat when I'm not hungry!
