The X-Files. Anyone remember that show? It used to be my favorite conspiracy.
I took this in broad daylight in my kitchen with light coming from outside on the right. I set Mulder and Scully in the front on a chair and the alien in front of a black blanket in the distance.
I cropped, sharpened twice, dodged most of the light areas, b/w and then pasted the color layer over it and set it to overlay. I also cloned out a tiny imperfection on the alien's forehead.

This looks like a truly interesting picture. I am on my computer at work, so it looks dark, but I think it is just this monitor. The mysterious lighting really helps to add to the drama of the shot.
Heh, the first time through I thought they were real people and that they looked like Scully and Mulder. Now I see they are figurines. Nicely set up. I like the phantasm (which looks like a demon face to me). I'm bumping this to an 8.
Nice use of lighting here.... it works well to hide the fact that these are plastic figures. Personally I would have liked the alien in the back to be a little less blurry though.
