This shot was taken at a free concert at Golden Gate Park. There was a DJ tent entertaing the crowd and I decided to try and get some close up shots focusing on DJ techniques. I was struck by how many of the DJ's didn't use any Vinyl and thus the title. Not sure if people will feel the perspective of this shot, but I was trying to convey a perspective on what an equipment's view of a DJ would be.

This shot has a potential for that "wow" factor. I think it's simply missing a bit of contrast values. The composition is very nice, the story is there, and the artistic value is definitely also present. Bump the contrast up, I say...
This is a good composition, but it is too dark. I like that you cropped so close, it gives the perspective you were looking for. But I also feel that something is missing.... a little movement on the subject hand perhaps.
