This is such a great idea, my only problem is the blown out sky, I might have tried a little levels adjustment and maybe a boost of blue in the saturation settings. But this is a great idea and does capture the challenge very well.
I see what you are trying to do here, however just an idea to improve this picture would be to use a slightly higher angle and crop of the excess white space over the trees...well done
