This is a perfect shot of your cat. I like the sharpness of everything and then you look at the cat and he looks so soft. excellent focus and composition. Great b/w!
A bit oversharpened (?), perhaps, but still a superb capture with the focused symmetry of the feline's face dominating the picture. The intensity makes it more than a 'pet pic'. The title, really, was needed here to tie to challenge. Well done.
I like the lines of light at the top of each stair. Usually I don't go for cat/dog pictures, but I think that this one works. Good title. I also like that I can see the stairs turn to the right near the top...makes it more interesting.
I have seen two images now with cats....I'am not real fond of cats but the job done is great! you could almost get me to re-think the cat thing:) thanks!
Very nice image. I really like the black and white effect used on the image. The cat also adds nicely to the image. The way the steps create balance and value for the image also adds interest to the image. Good job.
beautiful shot... I know that pet photos are commonplace... they are this way because people don't generally take interesting photos of their pets. This particular photo is not 'snapshotty' in it's feel... the black and white was a perfect choice also... the strong lines and contrasts work well. Beautiful work.. = 10
