Aside from the hand, this is a really beautiful shot. The hand is just really distracting.

I don't care for cat shots (just a personal aversion to cats based on bad history and bloody arms..) and yet I see a lot of potential in this one. The lighting and positioning is great. The only suggestion I would offer is to work out the DOF to get the hand and paws a little sharper.

I really like this. The cuteness factor is overwhelming. :D But something about the position of the hand bothers me. I suppose ideally it would look better if the hand were open & the kitty was sitting in the palm of it. Still a great shot.
