My first entry with my new camera - I dropped the old one and damaged the lens drive I think. I am very happy with my replacement.
Had a go at multiple perspectives- the pier, the railings and the lamp-posts, plus taking the picture from within a shelter to provide the inside looking out perspective. I was fortunate to get the nice cloud formations and sunset to add to it.
Photo was straightened, cropped slightly, USM, lightened, and curves adjustments.

The framing, the subject, the sunset and the perspective - you got them all in this shot. I've had to deduct a point because it hasn't been squared up. This is a tough competition and the attention to detail counts. I appreciate that if you don't have the software to rotate, that it is very dificult to get it right in camera
nice idea. would we have seen the sunset if you moved two steps to the left..mighta ruined the composition of the frame but helped that of the boardwalk though
Looks over-processed to me with a halo around the sign, in particular, but detectible in the cloud outlines. The color is alluring as well as the curved light fixtures.
