I think this picture was at its best quality when it had its yellow tint to it. It's a really fun and smiley picture that was taken at the perfect time. I'm excited to see how people vote for it.

This shot falls more in to the snapshot catagory than portrait. To be a portrait we would need to see the "Person" more than the surroundings. It is an incredible tree and I can see why you tried to get the whole thing in the shot. It also looks like a pretty nice day.
por•trait (pôr tr t, -tr t , p r -) n.
1. A likeness of a person, especially one showing the face, that is created by a painter or photographer, for example.
n 1: a painting of a person's face 2: a word picture of a person's appearance and character 3: any likeness of a person; "the photographer made excellent portraits"
An excellent portrait of a willow tree I must say...but if the center of our attention is to be the person standing in front of it...perhaps a closer crop might have been in order? Not a face only type of crop, but atleast one that is a little closer...I just can't stop looking at that tree...quite wonderful really...but maybe this is your intention? hmmmm...quite intriguing.
30 steps closer and I'd really like this one. IMO this is a shot of a tree with someone in the way, love the colors and the sharpness, just wish I could see her
hehehe..love the title. There is so much going on here and..I am sure you got this comment more than once... the person is a little small in the photo for the challenge portrait. :-) Beautiful landscaping though. Good luck!
Love the tree :) The shot is more like a snapshot than a portrait I think. Also the light road is quite distracting. Possibly a different angle might have worked better. The model is also too centered in the photo. The rule of thirds should have been applied here I believe.
For me, this is a nice candid, but I don't know if the tree or the woman is the focus. Perhaps if it was cropped in tighter to the person it would have a greater portrait feel. (for me anyways).
Great colors, she looks liek she is super-imposed on the image. For a portrait, a closer shot might have been better, but I like the image regardless. Nice job.
