I think this would have been better in B&W. You also may have wanted to take it at a time when you didn't need the flash.

The strong uniform linear composition of the branches is far from tangled, and it's actually the leaves that are (judging by the title) the tangled subject of the shot.

I see the relevence, I just don't see the effort. GL, and shadows, light, and colors could have made this a bit better.

too much fill-flash reflecting off of the leaves. like the composition w/the branches on an angle.

angle may be real, but is visually bad, too many branches included IMO
