Great capture, but how do we know it's actually sitting on a branch. Good color and detail. The theme is lost here.

I think you should have focused on the branch. Not on the bird.

nice hammerhead, but I need to see branch

Nice bird shot, but if he's sitting on a branch, I would like to see the branch... or at least some indication of where he is.

Nice bird and I like how it is not in the center of the photo!

A charming pose well caught, but without the title this makes the shot seem irrelevant to the challenge, sorry!

If he's sitting on it, you should probably have shown the branch since that's the challenge. Nice capture of the bird though.

that's one ugly-a** bird! Good capture of the curious look on its face

Doesn't really meet the challenge since you can't even see the branch...

Looks a bit oversharpened--the edges of many of the feathers and the highlights on the bill are jaggy. And, what was the subject, again?

I think 'branch' should be the focal point in this catagory. This is a fantastic photograph of a bird but in my opinion does not fit in with branch even tho' there are some blurred in the background.

I would like to see the whole bird and the branch he's sitting on!

a bit of burning along the beak, and underexposed on the breast. a difficult shot technically, also, not much focus on the "branch"

could be sitting anywhere, sorry

man this bird look stupid, love this pic :)

ummm...where is the branch?

Nice, but I can't actually see the branch.
