taken from atop a branch in a tree in my backyard took 22 pictures and this one I liked. used unsharp mask. dont ask to explain name i took it at 3:30 so its more of afternoon light, but i guess it was the first time i was outside today

Interesting perspective, but the technical flaws make it difficult to appreciate. Lens flare has its place, but in this image the pinkish dot and purple banding don't seem to have a purpose. The sun is painfully blown out--perhaps if you had intentionally underexposed you could have drawn out the shapes of the branches more and reduced the sun to a more pleasing size.
the sun flares against the branch are a bit distracting, because they are pink. also the sun gaping into the tree is very distracting and hard to look at.
