Beautiful horse - with bizarrely fascinating eyes. Great composition and overall feel to the shot, but the glare from the left side of the horse is a little strong IMHO. I know it's supposed to be high contrast, but I think it only needs to be as light as the dark areas are black. Still overall very strong entry.

The mane is wonderful!! What if you cropped the whole left side of the image where it is overblown? Maybe even cut the horses face right in half?

This is a nice shot...would have been rated a tad bit higher if the *overall* contrast of the shot was more intense...and not just the highlight areas on the horse. Try closing down 1-1.5 stops then fiddle with the levels a bit in PS to get a more contrastly look without having extreme amounts of highlights. The focus of the shot seems a bit blurry as well, but that may very well due to the image compression. Overall, a good shot..could be great with a bit more tweaking!
