Tried IR with my little camera with a big filter taped to it. It came out all right, but not as good as I had hoped. The bushes in the fore ground are blurred because of the wind. At the slower shutter speed I had no choice.

Nice landscape, I would have rates a little higher if the bush was cropped down a little even just to where the dark base of the one on the right hand side.
This is a great shot. My biggest issue with it though is the graininess of the sky. Actually it seems to get grainier the further back you go. Otherwise, the contrasts are great and the composition is awesome.
(from a non-voter, sorry - but your image is worth a comment!)
This is a lovely scene. The only thing that lowers its impact is the tremendous amount of noise - particularly in the clouds. Heavy (or any, sometimes!) use of "Contrast" will result in noise. If filters are permitted - you might want to try Neat Image (free download). It has a tendency to oversoften the image, but I compensate by using Curves in my editing program one last time before final save.
Ooohhh.... fun with IR! Very beautiful and dramatic. Personally, I would like to see less noise, particularly in the clouds, but that's just personal taste. Nice one!
