Photographer’s Notes
I had in mind using my wife’s steel spiked-heel garden-ornament-shoe from the beginning. Then I had to figure out how to make it more interesting and broaden the appeal. Maybe this works. Maybe it’ll get points for humor. Voters will decide.
I delayed shooting until the last minute. I then edited it using advanced editing, realized my error, and re-edited using basic editing. (I liked the advanced results better.) And then I submitted Tuesday evening.

Simply beautiful. It really does look like more of a painting then it does a photograph. Very impressed, this is the sort of thing that I try to achieve with my own shots.
