I took this on the dashboard of my car (hay, I'm on a tight chedule) ... and I like natural light! ... using a reverse 50mm lens. Shot in RAW … selective color (-5 yellow relative) unsharp mask, crop, save for web. Bring on the critics! ... "The crop bothers me … the background ins distracting, you should have cleaned the dust, oversharpened, looks dark, looks blurry, boring ...!" Bring It!

This is great detailing. I almost think you could have even made it a single grommet with the lace coming out for a SUPER MACRO. Even as minimal as it is, it's a tad busy with the lacing and color variations and all the speckled dust around the grommets.
7 - Good shot. Looks like a macro. Like the texture capture and the focus. Criticism; maybe a different angle, different cropping and possibly the use of a frame, not sure.
