So green! England? Wales?

Wow! Beautiful imagery! I love the way you framed the image, but I'm curious about what settings you used to get the precise angles against the the light. :) great job!

Works on a lot of levels. the clouds the sunlight, the sheep, the shadows, the mountains. Well done

Are those specks sheep? I really like this image, but I think that I'd prefer to either see the sheep cloned out or the foreground cropped out to allow me to see enough detail to verify that those are sheep.

Peaceful. This would have made a good minimalism challenge entry.

Top 10 for sure. This is an excellent 'landscape'
Good fit to challenge IMO and one of the better Dark and Light shots.

I'm soooo bored with this title, but this is a great photo. I don't want to bump this photo for the title but it is kinda important to this challenge...I'll go easy. Good luck!

A fine exposure; a real sense of detail, allied to a strong sense of composition. Effective light too.

Nice landscape. This is my top "darkness and light" although your pic is less literal than many of the others. 8

wonderfull, know i know you were going for the dark grass, but i find it to distracting, i would have cropped alot off the bottom, and left the "darkness" for interpratation with the clouds, and the shaddow behind the trees

wow, stunning. nice use of line and shadow. I like the dof you chose to use and the clouds just bring the triangular comp together. I think this is going to take top three. Only thing I think will hold it back is there are 60 million other darkness and light entries...though this one is the best I have seen so far. great shot

are those two fluffballs lambs? The tree (and mood) reminds me of 6 feet under. Love the looming tree shadow.

while I like the open grass space to dominate the picture, I think it dominates it by about 100 pixels too many. The photo is excellent and though provoking.

Excellent picture! Too bad the title is way over used on this challenge. I think a little more saturation would be good here but that's my personal taste.
