a couple of daisies taken very early in morning with a black board in background, full sun on flowers...levels, convert to b&w, cropped, unsharp mask, brightness/contrast, sharpen edges, curves. I did increase the contrast until there were extreme highlights on the daisy at bottom..so I'm certain the 'blownhighlight group' will be commenting, however I did want extremes in this picture.

The composition of this photo is what has grabbed me. I like the simplicity of this shot and the strong use of shadows and blown out hightlights. Excellent!
Black and White was nice choice, looks like you lost some detail in the flower due to lighting? Bottom corner has something showing up that isn't helping the photo.
This is nice. It takes a lot for a flower picture to impress me because so many people use them in every single challenge -- but this one is very appealing and fitting for this challenge. I love the brilliant light just on the flower. Great job.
It is looking like a lot of people are using this title. So far this is the best I've come across that made this title choice. Well done. Love the stem on the left flower, and the way it is detached...
