Can't go wrong with a shot like this. Spectacular nature with a great POV and wonderful sense of scale.

Beautiful shot. Well captured. Well processed and presented. You've made me feel and smell the storm. Thanks!

great image...love the colors and number of strikes.

You got that right! :-) The ground strikes are really cool, but the lightning above the clouds is just amazing. There might be a bit too much black on top, but otherwise this is a really gorgeous photo of an outstanding subject. Great job!

It is, isn't? Love watching lightning....as dangerous as it is, it sure is a wonder of nature. Like the two story view you got here and you got a lot of strikes in one image. Guess it was a fairly long exposure...did you use a ND filter? More than one or something else....that and an IR are something I've been meaning to get. Maybe for the next camera. Great shot and good luck!

That is just incredible, wonderful shot.

Very nice, I wanted to give this a higher score but felt it needed something other than just the lightning and cloud. Maybe something on the ground to give it a sense of scale. I realise that may be a difficulty, with storms you take what you can get ;-)

This is a seriously nice capture but I think you could have cropped out half of the top part of the sky

Very nice - lightning above and below the cloud! Curious to know the time exposure you used here. 7

nice image but the top detracts from it

Spectacular.... Great title!!! - 10

I want to be able to capture that! The clouds in the middle of the shot are awesome!

this is lovely and striking. the upper third is unnessecary though. The clouds and the strikes are the focal point here. you still get a fine score from me.

Great pic. I think perhaps there is a tad too much negative space above, so I'm going to give it a 9 and not 10. Still, pretty awesome.

very cool picture, but there's no way I'd guess what the D&L are without the title, and I think that meeting this challenge requires a visual cue
