Well, I like the image but I fear the voters won't. I hated being forced into the title and spent way more time on that, finally giving up.
Lots of editing on this one if only to get the lights right. The darks took care of themselves.

Wow! Thanks! I'm surprised this did as well as it did. Very tough competition in this challenge. Thanks for all the comments!
Everything is natural except me and my camera. I added those... :)
I wasn't going for a somber mood at all - the building is desolate, the person is lonely, nothing more or less. Actually, it was only that due to the forced title. Guess the title worked enough to get me over the goal of 6.5.
I'm going back to the same location tomorrow. Wish me luck!

This is such an amazing image. I like how it's as much art as it is a photo documentary of life as it exist for some (assume the graffiti and dirty corridor was in its natural state).
I wish I could see the model a little bit more, but still this is a great emotional photo. Im glad you chose to keep the color and not go B & W on this one, ithe graffiti adds definite interest to the story .8.
I've looked at your photo a couple of times now. For me, I would have been drawn more into the photo if the left hand side had been cropped into the black. Your shot gives a good photo-journalistic style (at least to me).
This looks a little oversharpened. I love the leading lines and the illumination. I'd like to see a little more detail in the figure. I like the setting, but having your model so well illuminated works against the somber mood that you were aiming for.
