The photo is too small, and not terribly interesting. Perhaps including something other than the sole would have helped. I don't get the title, sorry :-(

Okay, well it's a picture of the bottom of a shoe. It doesn't really appeal to me. The bottom of it fills the whole picture, and the picture is kind of small. It's not very interesting to me, but it's on topic.
Nicely abstracted from the whole. The curved, straight and circular lines all work together to make and inriguing image. Could use a bit of white toneal value for balance against the black. I'm sure you will hear over and over how this is too small, but I can see the entire photograph just fine. 6
