What the h#$@? this photo is my second highest scored entry. And I really did not expect it. I did this photo in only 30 minutes in total. I just thought to submit something. not really paying too much attention like I did on other entries. I guess it is really hard to explain what people likes...
Anyway, I found majority of commentors were bothered by the little stone. lol. I am sorry for that. I will remove it next time. :D
As for how to take this photo. It is rather easy. I have my boots ready, obviously. I put them on my white carpet in front of a white wall. Then put my camera on the floor too. then use the builtin meter to make white wall and carpet slight over exposed. In PS, I rotated it 26.8 degree (If I remembered correctly). Just regular post processing. I did played curve intensively though.
Thanks again for your vote (high or low) and comments!
I like it. The border is fine with me, but that spot in front of the right shoe (while I am sure purposefully done) is distracting. You shot captured texture, mood and gives me the feeling there is an invisable person in those shoes. Nice Job -- 7 --
The diagonal angle has created a very dynamic image with a good balance in the frame. No other elements to distract from the main subjects. The light vs dark works well. 8
This picture is technically really well done. The only thing I see that is very distracting is that rock or something in front of the right boot. It just keeps drawing my attention away from the boot.

This shot is excellent! It is just what I wanted to do also, only I don't have the knowledge to do something this great. You'll have to tell me how you did it after the voting is over. This is awesome!
