Sahko, sucko...whatever you call yourself, you are an idiot. The reason you don't understand is because you create fluff for the mainstream to please the general population. Not everyone will like what I do which is fine because I would rather have ONE person appreciated it than a herd of cattle....
I guess not everyone is thinking that this is crap, acording to score and the 5th place :) You just cannot get over the fact, that nobody is appreciating your "very artful" pictures. I feel sorry for you...
is this a grid with some water drops? its ingenius. Reminds me of those walls of tvs where each tv has its own picture but together they also make up a bigger picture. Very closer, with nice lines and just enough drops to keep the whole shot interesting without totally distorting the picture underneath. Cleverly done. :) 9
very interesting idea - I like the "digitizing" effect the wire screen gives, and the miriad reflections in the water drops. Many choices of how to look at things, and wonder what is real - and the one real thing is out of focus. Fits the challenge well, and it is a good photo - well composed with the black glasses balancing the black coat. 9
I assume it's the movie poster with a grid of water droplets above/in front of it? I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand it's relying too much on the poster, on the other it is an interesting visual display that has similarities to a lot of digital art nowadays. The impact is strong and appealing, and it meets the challenge.
That is so freakin cool I can't believe it!!!!! I absolutely love the contrast between the screen and the white face! And the sun glasses are great! You're the winner so far. Good luck.
OK - if this is legal, it must be a photo of a computer generated printout. Good artwork, but is this what dpc is all about? Correct me if i'm wrong... ss.
This effect should have come across my mind for this challenge. I don't know if you have seen my previous shot with the same technique before or you got inpired by the same portrait that I did. I'd like to follow up the outcome. Good luck. :-)
very clever use of the mesh grid as a suggestion of pixelization. I would have rather seen it darker though. I like the drops of water in the random squares too. suggests noise in the system as well as duplicated copies of data.
