As we all know until 1969 we all thought the moon was made out of cheese, so there is the dairy connection. This was taken 8/18/2005 just as the moon rose above NYC behind the Citi Corp building at Park Ave in NYC. With its slicing slanted cap the building seems to be taking a slice out of the moon.

Now if you had taken that image from an angle at 60th Street (instead of of 55th/56th) the chunk missing from the moon would have looked much more authentic.
I've never seen another picture like this one in this challenge. Very original! Nicely done. I like how your idea and how you decided to use the moon to represent cheese, and the building as something cutting the cheese.
what a great landscape...can't wait to find out what city this is. Even though dairy isn't really in the picture I love the way you made it fit the challenge. Great job!
Very interesting angle. No pun intended. :-) Very noisy... Neat image of something similar would have improved that. Maybe playing with the contrast and saturation to enhance the colors, etc. After the challenge, I would play with it a bit because this is a wall worthy image. You could probably even use a watercolor plug-in and make a really nice image that way.
Really clever concept. Very difficult capture. This is sooo close to being a remarkable shot. Still, very high marks from me for ingenuity and technique.
I'm going to defy the Challenge Police and give you a 7 on this. Except for the title, where is the milk or milk product? (I know, the moon is made of green cheese.) Thanks for a good picture.
Yeah, too bad this wasn't a full moon challenge. Very nice composition. Picture looks a bit fuzzy. I imagine that you are going to get lots of comments and deducted scores for not exactly meeting the challenge subject. 7
I see where you're going, but your image shouldn't need a title to get us to the topic. The image is also very grainy, and the forground too cluttered.
