This photo was taken in front of the mighty Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia. The temple is currently Buddhist, and in this photo, two monks serenely wait outside. The technique I used to take the color out of the rest of the photo is known as selective desaturation, and I feel it places emphasis on the human scale, something which is quite humbling in such an amazing place.
