I went to an outdoor concert over the weekend, and was able to work my way to the rear of the stage. The lighting on the drum kit was much better ( not washed out ) from the backside, and the darkness of being outside helped with the background.

Excellent lighting, except for the drummer's head. Looks like there was some post-processing done on this photo that might have effected it. Looks strange and artifact"y". The rest of the picture, especially the drums, looks great. 7
Great colours, perfect motion blur and brilliantly sharp. Nice and simple composition but what more could you ask for? A fantastically executed live music shot... well done.
Wonderful shot with superb composition, but there's a very strange filtered effect I don't like at all. Shame, as otherwise it's one of the better drummer photos I've come across.
