very good composition and lighting. i like your decision to go with black and white since it was raining and the color probably wasn't ideal. i like the black border but there seems to be a bit of white in each corner...i think it would be better without that. overall very well done

Congratualtions Mandy, Like I said , it was my favorite. I thought it had a couple of things that technically could have been improved but the capture itself was so wonderful all else is forgiven.

Thank you! I was so shocked! I was so mad at myself for adding the wrong border! I meant to use a square one. It wasn't long exposure...I used the sport mode on my camera. I was pleased how it came out.

This photo was my favorite for this theme from start to finish. To me it said it all. The fact that we've had a drought here in Kentucky for what seems like most of the summer may have influenced me a little but basically I saw myself in the child in this photo and it made me feel like I did back then. Thank you.
