Heavy downpour... asked the neighbor kids to go play in the rain. Did some selective de-sat because the greens were so vibrant it destracted from the image. Also desaturated the kids a bit to kinda give it an old time feel.

OK, so I had my neighbor hold the umbrella over my head during this shot. It rained like 2 inches in 30 minutes the last day of the challenge, and I didn't even know it was a rain challenge until after i took this shot! I went into my office to download the camera, and noticed the challenge. Lucky Me!

Great depiction of kids being kids, and if they are sisters you can really tell by the image. Not enough color saturation, though. The entire image seems to be the same tone. Not sure how you could have really made the girls jump out. Maybe fill in flash or an adjustment on exposure at the time of the image.
This is such a fun image. Shame on you for using your kids :) I love the fanciful play here. Poor little girl who's getting bullied by her big sister. Bumping up to 9.
Great colors and action. This is really well done. The contrast of the blues and the reds is great against the dark background and the "white" of the rain. This gets a ten from me!!
On second review, this is still a total stand out. The movement and the constrasting colors is just spot on. I bet you'll see a ribbon for this one.

'8' - Great rain shot for the Challenge. Criticism; whilst I do like the colors, I wonder if it would have packed more punch in b/w, especially seeing as you have so much definition in the water and splashes. Not sure about the black frame. Actually on a closer look, perhaps you have desaturated somewhat, can't discern 'green'. Good shot though. Maybe, just for added 'touch' and character, if the girl in blue had a blue umbrella might have created a really unique shot.
Great capture! looks like such a classic moment! everything in the photo is perfect, including the partial desat which really makes the girls pop out against the grey background. 10
