Nice clean shot, good strong colour and a good representation

An outstanding capture to fit this challenge.

thats real hard to capture i guess

I was wondering if we'd see any of this in this challenge! Nice capture.

Indeed a natural illusion. Why try to trick the eye when mother nature does it well to begin with? Bumping up to 8
Post actions
good idea, hope you got out of the way quickly :)
Post actions
One of those natural illusion seen often, well captured, bumping up.

what a great eye! and truly this is one of the most common natural illusions around. come to think of it, after seeing this I'm surprised that it's the only mirage entry in the challenge. tis a credit to your creative thinking. good work- I expect this one will place highly.

The old mirage trick.

Oh I love mirages... I still get excited by them at 33! This is a really nice image, strange how it can carry so many connotations and possible stories - that huge red truck out on the open roads... nice one.

Excellent capture, reminds me of that first spielberg film, "duel"

this is what photography is all about - very cool. 8

Brilliantly clear and sharp. I particularly like the centre line of the road leading to the lorry.
Post actions
I've seen this mirage before but never thought about actually taking a picture of it...cool!

OK... I'll give ya the illusion points, but it's not really that interesting. A few seconds glance and you've seen all there is, a truck coming over the hill...
Post actions
I think this is one that everyone can relate to. Wish the road was a little more "vanished", but still a good shot.
Post actions
isn't that so cool?
Post actions
You mean, those really aren't water puddles. Nice capture.

Nice colours, concept, focus and light. Truck being in the center hurts it a bit I think. Very good execution of the illusion!
Post actions
the red truck makes the shot.

Good composition and use of primary colors...the mirages are captivating.

You better move, lol. Good capture, I like the color and the detail.

I have always been fascinated my mirages, they are my own personal mindtrip - great capture. I love that the mirage has "eaten" the horizen so to speak.
