Focus seems a bit soft, alnmost blurry on face of girl. Seems to have focused on the hand and item being tossed in the air.
Good use of shutter speed to give the illusion of the item floating or stopped in mid-air. Lighting done nicely too in my opinion - really accentuates the gaze in the girls eyes.
I'd like to see the child a little more in focus, not sure if thats soft focus or you were just focusing on the ball. Also, im not exactly sure, but her arm looks a little off. A little to straight? it looks photoshopped.
that's pretty interesting. Has a very mystical vibe to it, that is only improved by the minimal lighting. Most of the focus seems to be on the hand and ball tho, which is good, but there seems to be a little more focus desired on the face. It seems you applied a bit of neat image to it to fix this tho. All in all, very nice and good luck:-)
WOW! My top pic of the challenge for sure. I really hope this one ribbons, everything about it is excellent - the lighting (use of shadow) and the expression is perfect - the subject looks very concentrated. The only thing that I don't like about this photo is the small reflection in the ball...but that's only minor...10
Incredible lighting though a touch of reflected fill under her hand would have been a bonus. Great expression in your model! The catch light in her eyes looks a little off though with the lighting of the rest of the shot. Just a little too bright. My only REAL complaint though is the ball doesn't look round. It is a ball right? I don't know if you got jpeg jaggies goin' on or if it's in the way you suspended the ball. However overall I find my eye going to the girl and not the ball so it's not really much of an issue! Kudos

Well done, although it coud have been caught with a fast shutter speed or other trickery, you have managed to created, at least for me, the illusion that the ball is floting in air.
