Well as luck would have it, I was so busy I had no time to get into the cathedral while it was open so I concentrated yesterday and today on the front facade. Will go back cause of the fascinating architecture but I desparately wanted to do the inside....rats!

Something about this photo really conveys the immensity of the architecture. Probably the massive columns next the the relatively small statue. I love the strong vertical lines and I think it's a great choice for "affluence".
