What a cute and alert face! Good contrast, too. Some of the background is distracting (especially the white material on the left, and the light dot to the left of the head. I personally would've preferred zooming back a little to get the hands in, too. Still a good shot.
Skin tones could be just a little bit lighter, but good control of the flash overall. For the print, you could black out the stuff in the background. Kid looks sharp!
"Remember, pretty soon my agent's gonna start charging for these sessions!"
The (kid's) left ear seems quite a bit lighter than the rest of the visible skin, but I didn't really notice until I went back and looked again. I might adjust it if I was going to go back and print it.
Good shot. You might try changing the depth of field to blur out the background maybe. I've been practicing this myself and it makes a good difference.
I lvoe the expression. The little corner of whatever it is attracts my attention more than I want it to. If it was unavoidable to miss, so be it. The lighting and focus if very well done.
Maybe I lack maternal instinct or something (yes, I'm female), but some baby photos just make me go "Eww, get it away from me!" This will probably change if I ever have one of my own, and it's not your fault because the photo is nice.
Another great baby face, good shot! You might try a higher f/stop to get rid of the background or just use a backdrop. Overall this is a great shot and should score well.
