interesting, there is just no accounting for taste - i recognized the image as well, but i liked this one much better than the other one...

This is the second image I've seen of this the first was better. The statute in total darkness does not sit well against all the other color.

I've seen a lot of good architectural photos at this site, but this one beats them all; spectactular. Placement of the shadowy figure in the lower right corner has transformed a good photo into a great one. Bravo.

Great details on parts of the ceiling; love the rich red colors & the angle of the shot; great title as well.

A flash would have illuminated the statue in the foreground & made it more a part of the photo instead of standing out from it, & I wish the skylights weren't blown out (I'm sure you're going to hear a lot of that...), but this is still a creative & well executed take on the challenge. - 7.
