 Had 31 euros to work on.. real material wealth. In my home town there sure isn't anything comparable to places like NY or Vegas or so on. Still wanted to participate, so, well, had to play it the boring (= macro) way. :) Used MF Nikkor 50mm f/2.0 with Nikon BR-2 Macro Adapter Ring.

Crop | Resize | Desaturate, that's it.

Took about 170 shots and this one worked out the best. Hoping to get better grades than my last submission, so 4.9 avg it is.

... Saw this linked from the "What was I thinking thread"...

I like the hexagonal bokehs! I really don't think this is deserving of a 4.1. Your idea was sound, just a little bump in arrangement and lighting, would have made this more popular. Maybe if the challenge title was glittery things would be differnet! (IMHO hehe :) )

Great image with perfect title! Only nitpick would be that the overall tone of the pic is a litlte dull.
