I have always held back on making this shot a favorite for the sheer reason that I love butterflies and hate to see one hurt or dead... but I guess I cant hold back any longer! haha... its just such a beautiful shot and I can no longer deny it! A favorite it is!
I love this image,the dark feel to it and the composition is brilliant,dof is defiantly a key factor, but so beautiful. part of nature in urban surroundings this is brilliant.love it :)
I'm only saying this cuz I'm pretty sure you have a good sense of humor, but isn't it a tad unnecessary to describe a dead butterfly as crippled too? I'd say, yes, indeed he is crippled...mortally.
