Composition Gorgeous little girl. Her hands clasped is adorable. The grass at the bottom is a bit unnecessary, I think. Just a small issue.
Color The colors are all there and this meets the challenge well. There are LOTS of colors here - it's a great idea.
Lighting I like how you can see her face. Sometimes with hoods and hats, the light is obscured - but you have done a good job of keeping details visible. I like that the lighting is muted, looking like a good ole rainy day.
Subject matter C'mon. It's almost cheating this kid is so adorable! Perfect subject.
Overall This is the best kid under the umbrella shot I've ever seen! :) Seriously, I really love this shot, and I wish it had gotten over the 7 hump!
Very good job here. The colors meet the challenge as with many other images in the challenge. What really makes this stand is the priceless expression on that sweet face. It's composed beautifully too. Definetely one of my top favorites. 10
Very nice... the colors, exposure and softness are super. I'm curious as to the camera used. Great that there are drops on the umbrella. Would have loved to see her holding it though(I am so picky). Also would have prefered no grass showing.
I love this shot -- that nice diffuse cloudy day lighting that works so well with portraits, and the primary colors are used subtly enough to be really interesting here.
What a wonderful picture. I wish that I took it. It is vivid, expressive, and fun. I just wish that the little girls eyes were looking at the viewer, it would have changed it a great deal and made a stronger connection. Great work, lovely child. 10 Morgan
Precious shot! Only thing I would change is a tighter crop on the right side so that the girl isn't in the dead center of the frame. Other then that, excellent work! 9 -danny
Very nice. One of my favorites here. The beautiful girl is not looking straight at the camera, seems to be thinking of something else, I like that! Lighting, colors and focus also very nice. Only negative thing I can think of is that stray grass at the bottom!
