Kristinn: Personally I felt this deserved a much higher ranking. Obviously by the voting and comments a lot of members have a rather limited imagination. Don't get discouraged and keep sending in more great images.

4 - DMC. There is only one 'tool' here and no related trade either. It is a 'pretty' shot and 'stock' like, but for me, meeting the Challenge is the priority.
why is the wrench in a wine glass??? clever but perhaps alittle over the top!! lovely colour background and the bubbles are terrific. good angle of glass.
The purple background adds a very nice touch. I would think that if the wrench is suppose to be the focus of the picture that it should be completely in focus. The top of the wrench is OOF. You probably planned it that way, so I won't let it detract from your score. Nice pic!
What an imaginative take on an ordinary atool. I love the magenta and the fact that you put it in a glass of effervescent liquid - the bubbles are a fun surprise. Nice diagonal quality to it. 8

This would work great for a feature in Oprahs magazine. Top ten tools for women, or Tips and tricks for the handywoman. Beautifully done. My compliments!
Creative idea for the challenge. My question is...what is a wrench doing in a wine glass? Anyway, it makes for a cool effect (the bubbles). I reallly like the color and how it plays in the glass especially at the stem. Handle of the wrench is a little over exposed. All that together...I give it an 8
I really like this photo. There is something about such a strong tool in such a delicate glass that is very captivating. The bubble are a bonus. As for the color, I love it.
