This is my highschools darkroom, being a senior by the time this challenge is over the darkroom will no longer be at my disposale how depressing :( It features 16 different enlargers and all that nifty stuff you see in the picture. This is where I found my love for photography.

Thank you to everyone who commented on my photo. This was an 8 second exposure shot. I took it while students were doing their last minute work, so I wasn't about to tell them to stand here for two seconds than stand at the next three for another two seconds it just wouldn't have worked. Even though its a very large darkroom it still is very cramped and this is the only picture I took worthy of being posted in my opinion. You also have to understand I couldn't use my flash just incase someone had photo paper sitting out. All in all I'm pleased with my results but I learned something tonight while on my friends crap computer that will make me saving what I post to its maximum jpg. size.
I'm starting to wonder if all darkrooms looks the same -- right down to the processing reminders on the wall. LOL This is an interesting pic -- I like the idea of the time blur, but I wish the clock didn't look like the person's head. In fact, it would have been cool if we could have seen some motion blur on one or both of the clock/timers as well. Also, since this is a darkroom, I want it to be darker. I know it's a bizarre thing to say, but there you go.
I remember that! Good use of time exposure. Personal choise, I would have tried to have the subject(s) stand still longer, move less, but your choise works, too. (My reasoning is: I can't tell if there is one person or two) Photo 9 Creativity 9 B&W 9 total 9
eek. i remember those days. actually, i enjoyed what you're doing now. the horror for me was spinning the film around that little wheel in the ultra dark room. *shudder*
Hey, isn't it supposed to be dark in there? I think that the person could have held still a little longer, to get maybe a more distinct impression of what he's doing.
Wow, awesome! This was a real surprise to me because I didn't notice the "ghosts" in the thumbnail. I love the implications of the ghost images juxtaposed against the signs on the wall with the number of minutes, and the clock. Everything talks to me about the passing of time. I'm giving it 10 :)
Took me awhile to figure out that this was a studio. The blurred vision of the man could've been more clear. Maybe walk to each step and stop for a second or two, so that we could see you acting out the process.
