Great capture of the smoke. That is not always easy to do. I think a composition that didn't have the entire glass and lid in it would be more effective. Arrange them differently, then crop or frame the top of the glass.
good smoke trick, but the photo plays some perspective tricks on me. I think it's a combination of the lid position and the texture of your backdrop. not sure.
