The outcome is a slightly more vivid colour with better contrast between light and shadow. This was achieved through a subtle combination of the following.

Wow, beautifull shot. Nice contrast with the violet and yellow. Is it natural or post-editing? Anyway, looks good especially with the perspective. It's unfortunate the sky's not saturated enough (for my taste).
