Very nice. It certainly meets the challenge. You got that gleam in his eye which always makes a portrait!! Good texture although his head (despite his clear eye) could use a touch of sharpening to my eye.
Is it just me or does that lizard look nostalgic? I think (wittingly or unwittingly) the photograher captured a brief moment of reflection in the life of this iguana. What was it my scaly friend? A love lost? Missed opportunity? A goodbye you never got to say? We may never know....
